Designed specifically for the experienced belayer. An assisted belay device for the crag and gym that doesn't jam or and allows for a slick feeding of the rope. Designed for rope diameters of 8.5mm to 11mm, the Grigri improves the belayer's handling both when taking in and dishing out slack.

The best

The Grigri allows for more peace of mind for both the climber and the belayer. For new climbers, the Gri gri can make you so much more confident and comfortable on walls. Shooting for a big move is no where near as scary when you know the Grigri is there for back-up. I would recommend this as anyone's belay device if they had an extra 100 dollars to spend (while that is a good chunk of money, safety is worth it). The belayer can also rest assured that they won't drop their climber! MUST HAVE piece of gear for climbing.
