Pomoca Climb Pro S-Glide V2 Climbing Skin

2 items left

The Pomoca Climb Pro S-Glide V2 is a high performance and extremely durable climbing skin. This baby blue skin weighs 1.35 g/cm2 because of its longer than average plush. This long plush provides both exceptional grip (52g/cm2) and glide (213 kcal/h). In comparison to other Pomoca brand skins: the Climb Pro S-Glide is heavier than the Climb 2.0 and equal in weight to the Climb Pro Mohair. The Climb Pro S-Glide has both better glide and grip than both the Climb Pro Mohair and Climb 2.0. Best of all, these skins come equipped with Pomoca's updated V2 tip and tail attachments which prove to be a robust and durable design. So know that this celeste skin is a great option for backcountry skiers seeking grip, glide, and durability at the expense of a bit of added weight.

Great service and great product

Great Skin, even better service from cripple creek

First time ordering from cripple creek backcountry. Was in search of thus skin specifically. Ordered Weds with standard shipping. Had the skin on Friday in time for the storm weekend. Amazing. Skin is awesome btw. I’m 6’5 250 and the uphill grip is outstanding. Glide is good too

Great so far!

First, great experience with you store as one of the two pairs I needed had to come from a different location. Thanks for making the pick-up at the Denver store a breeze. Solid product and cutting the skins to fit was straightforward with a little help from Pomoca videos. Using them on K2 Coombacks and K2 Gotbacks.
We’ve had them out once with about 6” of fluffy pow on a firm base. Climbing was secure and when it came time to take them off for some downhill terrain, they were easy to manage. So much easier than skins I had a decade ago.

Skins work great!

Ive been using the Pomoca Climb Pro S-Glide V2 skins for a few weeks now and they have been great. Even on steep terrain they grip well! They cut to fit my Atomic backlands very well!

Ask a Question: Is there anyway to make the tail clip stay in place?
Tail clip issues

Every time I go to put the clip on it adjusts sizes. It can be a pain if it’s cold and windy and you’re trying to go quickly

Pomoca Climb Pro S-Glide V2 Climbing Skin from Cripple Creek Backcountry

First: I would, very much, like to thank Paul, Todd and the Cripple Creek Backcountry Team for their great support in getting my new skins to me. Thank you all very much!!

Next: last Fall we bought two pairs of the 2019 version of Pomoca Climb Pro S-Glide Skins and used them all last (2019-20) Winter without any issues. At the end of the season they still looked and worked like almost brand new. So far our experience is that for us they are good skins and work well. That is, they provide good (great) grip, have reasonable weight and allow quick/easy transitions. I have no problem giving the product and Cripple Creek Backcountry 5-stars for the Outstanding quality of both the POMOCA product and CCBC service. They deserve the “Outstanding” rating for their product knowledge, experience, quick response, customer service and for being just plain great folks to do business with.

This year I needed another set of skins and learned that POMOCA has a “V2” of this skin which I understand is supposed to have a new/better glue(?). Our snow layer is still a little thin in Utah and with all the 2020 strangeness going on we have not yet transitioned from Fall hiking/biking activities to Winter skiing activities. I will update my review of my “V2” skins soon.
