Salewa's Women's Rapace GTX boot is ready for pure mountaineering objectives without the weight penalty of a traditional mountaineering boot. Weighing in at only 615 grams per boot, the Rapace GTX doesn't sacrifice durability. This boot is designed with a durable nubuck and fabric upper, which is waterproof and breathable thanks to the GORE-TEX membrane. The Rapace holds onto its pure mountaineering DNA with a sole stiff enough to support crampon use. The Vibram WTC outsole offers reliable grip on rock and is coupled with a midsole that is designed for longer lasting cushion than is often found in traditional mountaineering boots.
