Salewa's Wildfire 2 hiking shoe is a low-cut hiker designed to provide ultimate control in technical terrain. The POMOCA outsole incorporates the precision and sensitivity of an approach shoe while providing the versatility of a hiker. The rubber is manufactured from a Butylic compound that offers secure grip on dry and wet rock, and the Switchfit lacing system allows you to quickly shift from hiking mode into a climbing mode that gives you better performance on small edges and holds. The Wildfire 2 is still a hiking shoe, however, and its cushioned EVA midsole is designed for comfort when walking and hiking.
