The Peregrine 11 features a more durable and protective upper than its previous models. The Peregrine is a perfect 'do it all' kind of trail runner, with its performance fitting upper that secures your mid foot in place. You can count on this shoe for any trail run adventure. The performance oriented mid foot avoids all external slipping and sliding, and a narrow heel cup for added security. For those coming from the road running world, the Peregrine will make you feel at home with its comfort like fit similar to most road runners. The toe box is compact but not restrictively tight allowing the toes to splay out naturally. The midsole features a moderate cushioning with a rock plate to allow for a cushy, flexible, and protective ride. The cushioning on the new Peregrine 11, called PWRRUN, makes for an energy responsive ride especially at faster paces. The upper also features a new lightweight air mesh layer that adds to the durability of the shoe and helps keep away brush and rocks. The Peregrine features an aggressive lug outsole made up of PWRTRAC tacky rubber conform to a variety of terrain.

The Peregrine isn't a performance oriented shoe, but it runs lighter than its spec weight and feels extremely agile. The Peregrine is well suited for anyone who is hitting the trail for the first time or your experienced trail veteran.

I just took my shoes out today for the first time. They are good so far. A little sloppy. I might need an insole. My size, 7.5, was too small, and now the 8 feels too loose. I'm keeping them anyways because it's been incredibly difficult to find trail shoes that aren't narrow at the toe. Kind of disappointing really. Anyways, hopefully I will like them as I use them. I only have one run in them so my review can't get into the nitty gritty.
