Bootfitter's Advice
The Scarpa F1 XT runs a 100 mm last but fits narrower than that through the toe box, with an average instep and a heel pocket we find roomier than the forefoot. A slim heel may want a heel pad or wedge, and the buckles do the rest of the work locking it down. The shell also runs a little short. Note that the Scarpa F1 XT is offered in whole Mondo sizes only, from 24 to 31, so half-size feet need a shell fit to decide which way to go rather than a conversion.
A Grilamid Fiber Glass LFT shell, a glass-reinforced nylon, punches less predictably than a plain Grilamid shell because the glass fiber resists deformation. Expect modest correction rather than a large punch, and plan on molding the Intuition Cross Fit Tour LT liner, a heat-moldable foam liner.
