A flat-pedal mountain bike shoe for trail and aggressive descending, the Shimano SH-GF600 Flat Pedal Mountain Bike Shoe uses a heavy-duty synthetic leather upper with an asymmetrically raised inside ankle guard, a padded ankle collar, and a simple lace closure. The Ultread GF rubber outsole runs a hexagonal traction pattern that protrudes approximately 2mm and is tightly compacted at the pedal contact area, with TORBAL 2.0 torsional plate underneath for outer-edge flex through corners. EVA midsole keeps walking comfort high for hike-a-bike sections. The size 43 weighs 461g per shoe. The GF600 sits in the middle tier of Shimano's flat-pedal MTB shoe lineup (above the GF400, below the GF800) and is the right shoe for trail and enduro riders who want a stiffer-sole flat option than the GF400.
