The Smith x Aleck Snow Series Pro is the flagship drop-in audio system for audio-ready snow helmets, replacing the removable ear pads rather than sitting over or under them. At 14 millimeters thick the modules fit the standard ear pocket cutout without creating a pressure point, which is where cheaper helmet audio fails on a long day.
Forty millimeter drivers handle the sound, tuned to stay clear at the volume a chairlift demands, with an equalizer in the Aleck app for adjusting the balance. Two oversized buttons operate volume, tracks, calls, and voice assistants with a mitt on, and a built-in microphone takes hands-free calls. Battery runs to eighteen hours, Bluetooth is 5.2, and the housing carries an IP54 rating against water and dust and is tested in freezing conditions. It also pairs with Aleck's Off Grid unit for push-to-talk without cell service. Unisex.
