Tech Specs

Hardboot Splitboard Binding for Backcountry Efficiency

The Spark R&D Dyno DH Hardboot binding is the pinnacle of hardboot bindings. Designed to be used only on the down, the Dyno DH stays in your pack on the climb and easily slides onto your pucks for the ride down. Designed to be used with hardboots like the Atomic Backland or Key Equipment Disruptive boots, this strong, lightweight binding is ready to expand your backcountry riding horizons.

Robust and lightweight design

The Dyno DH is comprized of lightweight stainless steel bails and anodized aluminum toe clips that keep your boot locked in for riding. The toe clips fit even the most low profile AT boots and the heel end of the baseplate has been reinforced for durability and longevity.

Expand your backcountry touring horizons

Running a hard boot setup is becoming more common among snowboarders worldwide thanks to the lateral stiffness you gain in a hardboot. If you are looking to enhance your uphill performance or considering splitboard mountaineering, then a hard boot setup is right for you. We recommend you run canted pucks whenever using hardboots to protect your knees and make the downhill more enjoyable. When going uphill, the bindings will be in your backpack or strapped to it. Pairing this binding with the Spark tech toe will gives you a smooth pivot point for all-day efficiency.

The Dyno DH only comes with the bindings themselves. You will also want to purchase the following to complete your setup.

What a pleasant surprise! Arrived way earlier

I ordered a backup pair of Spark Hardboot plates as my last pair I bonked and are a little loose. Did not want to be out for the season. The 2022 shipments of Spark were not supposed to be till August, but I received mine already (feb '22)! Thank you so much

Ditched Phantom for Spark

Phantom will snow/ice up on you and slow your transition was down. The puck system though not as pretty is more solid and easier.

Spark R&D Dyno DH

It can be used in the same pack as the soft boot binding, so it's easy and nice for those who use both boots.

Spark rd hardboot binding

Solid but Heavy bindings. Probably not worth switching from softboots since there are really not many benefits.
