SRAM engineered the X0 Eagle T-Type Wide crankset to be the most advanced aluminum model in its lineup. The design utilizes a specialized all-aluminum construction that balances high stiffness with a low overall weight. This ensures that riders receive legitimate performance and durability without the added bulk typical of traditional alloy cranks. A 55mm chainline and 174mm Q-factor provide the necessary spacing for modern mountain bike frame geometries and tire clearances.

Protection is a primary focus for this component when navigating technical terrain. SRAM included removable and replaceable 2-Guard aluminum bashguards to shield the 32t chainring from impact. These guards allow for aggressive riding over rocks and logs while preserving the integrity of the drivetrain. This 12-speed crankset features a DUB spindle interface and direct mount chainring compatibility. Note that the DUB bottom bracket and required spacers are sold separately.
