The XX SL Eagle Transmission (T-Type) Cassette is a key reason why Eagle Transmission provides unmatched inboard and outboard shifting performance under load. With its full X-SYNC design, the harder you pedal, the better the shifting performance becomes. This cassette is not only the lightest Eagle cassette ever made, but it is also our most precise and longest-lasting model.
The new-generation design features a fully machined, hardened steel X-Dome architecture for gears 1-9, while the ultra-lightweight, all-aluminum Spider Cog is used for gears 10-12. Engineered to work as integrated and interdependent transmission components, the XX Eagle Transmission Cassette and derailleur align perfectly on every bike.
The cassette offers an extensive 520% gear range, with a 52-tooth cog that provides improved gear progression, complemented by 44 and 38-tooth cogs at the low end (in comparison to the Eagle drivetrain's 10-52-tooth cassette). For added convenience, the cassette includes a clearly marked Setup Cog, making installation simple and foolproof.
