The Peregrine 11 features a more durable and protective upper than its previous models. The Peregrine is a perfect 'do it all' kind of trail runner, with its performance fitting upper that secures your mid foot in place. You can count on this shoe for any trail run adventure. The performance oriented mid foot avoids all external slipping and sliding, and a narrow heel cup for added security. For those coming from the road running world, the Peregrine will make you feel at home with its comfort like fit similar to most road runners. The toe box is compact but not restrictively tight allowing the toes to splay out naturally. The midsole features a moderate cushioning with a rock plate to allow for a cushy, flexible, and protective ride. The cushioning on the new Peregrine 11, called PWRRUN, makes for an energy responsive ride especially at faster paces. The upper also features a new lightweight air mesh layer that adds to the durability of the shoe and helps keep away brush and rocks. The Peregrine features an aggressive lug outsole made up of PWRTRAC tacky rubber conform to a variety of terrain.

The Peregrine isn't a performance oriented shoe, but it runs lighter than its spec weight and feels extremely agile. The Peregrine is well suited for anyone who is hitting the trail for the first time or your experienced trail veteran.

Saucony Peregrine 11 Running Shoe

I accidentally ordered a pair of women's Saucony Peregrine 11; however, I was ordering a replacement for my current pair in men's. I really like this shoe and trained for a trail marathon with them in July 2022. I found them to be responsive and stable, yet also comfortable, and I felt good wearing them. I kid you not - the other day while running, someone confused me with a gazelle. Now 35 years old and my knees being able to sense when a cold front is coming through, the comfort was appreciated. I've always been a fan of Sauconys, but I find the soles of their road running shoes wear out far faster than they should (and I have a pretty light heel strike - some would say "gazelle-like" apparently). I think they should use an alternative rubber. But the added thickness of a trail shoe sole makes up for that for me. They're louder when running on pavement of course, but at least I feel like I'm getting my money/miles worth.

Best trail shoe, hands down

This is my 4th pair of Peregrine11s. They're rugged but comfortable, super sticky sole, dry fast and breathe well. Can't recommend enough. I run 30ish miles a week in them and around 4000ft of gain. It's too bad they changed the fit for the 12s... I'll be buying 11s until they're all gone.

Saucony Peregrine

I just took my shoes out today for the first time. They are good so far. A little sloppy. I might need an insole. My size, 7.5, was too small, and now the 8 feels too loose. I'm keeping them anyways because it's been incredibly difficult to find trail shoes that aren't narrow at the toe. Kind of disappointing really. Anyways, hopefully I will like them as I use them. I only have one run in them so my review can't get into the nitty gritty.
