Description

The Weston Eclipse is a women's specific, lightweight, powder-centric splitboard. The Eclipse is intended to surf powder the old fashion way: human-powered. The board's design is based on the Freedom Wood Core - a combination of paulownia and popular to keep the board lightweight and responsive. Tip to Tail Carbon adds two stringers of carbon fiber to give even more energy to the wood's construction. Weston's four year warranty ensures that this board will keep its child-like energy for many years of shredding to come. Weighing in at 5.96 lbs in the 150 cm size, Weston seemed to fit a lot of fun into a featherweight package. The board has a 7/10 flex pattern and an intended Powder/Freeride design, making it a perfect backcountry specific board. If you are a lady looking for a shorter, lighter version of the Weston Backwoods, the Eclispe should fit the bill.

Great board!

I usually ride a hovercraft and, while this board doesn't handle chunder as well, it has a lot of other perks that make it a really great all-around split board for ladies who like to both surf and split-ski out of a dense forest Lightweight, amazing maneuverability, playful feel, and can charge hard on all those variable days.

Slay the Pow

This board is so much fun, it is super floaty (thanks to that big nose) and makes you feel like a superstar while carving out epic turns in the pow! It also has the ability to be super nimble and easy to manoeuvre through the trees. Once we get a solid base going and the snow keeps falling this is my go to board for off-piste fun! I'm 5'8 and consider myself a fairly advanced rider and I went with the 155, this has allowed to really stay on top of the snow, especially on those heavier days, and even with a longer board, I have no problems moving this board through the tight trees or making last minute direction changes. Excited for many more days on this bad boy!

Best Pow Board I've Ever Ridden

I absolutely love this board. It does well in a variety of conditions, but I have mainly ridden it in powder. I've ridden it in chest deep pow in the Eastern Sierras and it floated effortlessly and was easy to maneuver. I am 5'7, 150lbs. I went with the 150cm. There has been a lot of debate about going longer for a pow board and floatability, but given the shape, and how it is designed for powder, i decided to go with the 150cm. Happy with the decision. Especially since i like to ride dense trees, no point in going longer. Id be happy with this board as my pow board forever. highly recommend.
