The BCA Stash Pro 40L UL is the lightest 40 liter pack BCA builds, aimed at long backcountry days and mountaineering objectives where the volume is needed but the weight is not. Forty liters is the size where a pack stops being a day pack and starts carrying a rope, a rack, or an overnight kit.
Organization runs across three compartments. The main section is a roll top that also opens through a side zip, so the bottom of the load is reachable without unpacking from above. A dedicated avalanche tool pocket sits on the back panel, keeping shovel and probe separate and fast to reach. A side stash pocket sits low on the pack, a phone, helmet, and snack pocket sits above the back panel, and the hipbelt carries small pockets for what needs reaching while moving. Unisex.
