Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL Bikepack Tent

The Copper Spur HV UL Bikepack is a freestanding, high-volume bikepacking tent from Big Agnes, made for the rider who wants room to sit out a storm without hauling a heavy shelter. The HV pole architecture pushes the walls out near vertical for more usable interior space than a tapered design, and the DAC Featherlite NSL frame with 12-inch Shortstik poles packs short enough for handlebars, panniers, or a saddlebag.

The UL2 holds a 29 square foot floor and a 40-inch head height at a 2 lb 15 oz trail weight, with two doors and two vestibules so each rider gets a private entry and covered gear storage. Freestanding pitch means the tent stands on hard ground, slickrock, or a tent platform without staking out the floor. The line runs UL1, UL2, and UL3 to match solo riders through three-up trips.

Compared to the semi-freestanding Tiger Wall, the Copper Spur trades a few ounces for near-vertical walls and a freestanding pitch, the difference between crawling in to sleep and sitting up to wait out the weather.
