Description
The newest addition to the Freebird line from Black Crows. The Ferox is a ski that won't be stopped stop. It boasts a tri-material blend of Poplar/ Paulownia wood and Isocore fiberglass, the Ferox will remain stiff enough for mixed conditions.
A medium classic camber gives the Ferox an increased torsional rigidity to handle deep carving turns and stable control at high speeds. No more feeling chattery on a powder ski when cruising down packed conditions at high speeds. The H-shaped carbon reinforcement also helps improve the lightness of the ski by bringing it down to a light 1,800 grams. Paired perfectly with Black Crow Climbing skins From Pomoca.

Black Crow blowout

My ski suffered a blowout in under one year of use. As much as I love the skis I was let down that black crow wouldn’t replace them under a warranty. Instead I got a 30% discount. Sort of insulting as black crow should have at least offered to sell them to me at cost.
