Updated designs and fabrics take the Cirque 35 to new heights. A ski mountaineering pack that handles ice climbing, technical ski tours, and laps about the backcountry.

    Tech Specs

The Black Diamond Cirque 35 gets a facelift this winter to become the ultimate mid-capacity ski mountaineering backpack. It handles the demands of snow, ice, climbing, mountaineering, and, ultimately, skiing back down. The Cirque 35 is the pinnacle of technical touring packs for those getting into route terrain. The durable Dynex grid 210D nylon fabric complements this feature-rich backpack that guides can't even destroy.

The Cirque 35 has everything we've come to know and love from the Cirque series. Roll-top main pocket, external avy gear pocket (with drain holes), A-Frame and diagonal carry, removable padded hip straps with snack pocket and a tool carry strap. The upgraded A-Frame carry straps are beefier so that your freshly sharpened Helio Carbon 104 skis can't phase its durability. These same straps will also help hold down any rope.

Black Diamond updates the main compartment with a quick side access pocket for ski crampons and skins. The Cirque 35 offers users a divider, allowing them to have a large capacity pack when not using this design feature. For quick access to anything in the main compartment, this 30+ liter ski touring pack offers a waterproof side zipper. The internal pocket on the back panel allows for a hydration bladder.

Black Diamond created PickPocket for quick deployment of piolets and tools required for steep terrain. The diagonal carry straps tuck away, as do the helmet carry straps. A comfortable padded shoulder harness and hip belt make a few pounds feel lighter. We love this pack for those who need more than just a "day touring" pack. This technical ski mountaineering pack is great for those finding verticality in their longer day tours.
