The Blizzard Zero G 85 W Alpine Touring Ski is a speed touring and mountaineering tool that's technical yet easy to ski. It's focused on getting you up and down the mountain with ease so you can keep running laps all day. The lightweight carbon/paulownia core has this ski tipping the scales at 1100 grams (171 cm) which means your legs will still be fresh and ready to descend at the top of the skin track. When you top out and switch into downhill mode, you'll be pleasantly surprised with the focus on turn performance and stability. To ensure this downhill performance in such a light construction, Blizzard upgraded the carbon drive construction that was such a success in past years. Carbon Drive 3.0 reinforces the Paulownia wood core with two sheets of uni-directional carbon that wrap the full length of the ski. The result is torsional stiffness for superb edge grip and a damp base that helps eat up chattery conditions. Further, the Carbon Drive gives a consistent flex pattern for stable turns in a variety of snow conditions.
