Premium Freeride Performance

The all-new CAST Touring Freetour 2.0 Pivot 18 brings refinement and panache to the freeride touring binding category. The CAST Freetour system began as a retrofit solution for skiers who needed a bomb-proof, all-metal binding with touring capability. The new Freetour 2.0 Pivot 18 ups the anty, offering the highest DIN for major cliff hucking and steep shredding. With its CAST configuration and AFD attachments, the Pivot 18 works with virtually any hybrid boots on the market. The kit includes a standard AFD compatible withISO 23223 (Gripwalk) and ISO 5355 (Alpine) soles, as well as a second plate that works with ISO 9523 (Touring Norm) boots.

Dual Toe System for Alpine & Backcountry Skiing

Unlike other hybrid bindings that rely on complex moving parts to transition from ski to walk, the CAST features two distinct toe pieces that can be swapped with the simple push of a button. The binding weighs in at 1008g with the pin-style toe installed for walking uphill, compared to 1343g with the downhill toe installed. While other hybrid bindings can transition without removing pieces, this system reduces the number of moving parts and provides an all-metal construction not seen in any other hybrid touring option. The CAST Freetour 2.0 also features an improved mounting/dismounting system for the two toe pieces for smoother transitions, less snow and ice buildup, and easier use with a gloved hand. A larger brake retainer further improves transitions and reduces the likelihood of the brake popping down during the uphill.

Look Pivot 18 Technology with DIN 8-18

Utilizing the new and improved Look Pivot 18 binding, the CAST Freetour 2.0 is the next gold standard of freeride alpine bindings. A new 105mm brake size eliminates the familiar problem of deciding between a 95 or 115mm brake for those mid-fat freeride skis. DIN values from 8-18 ensure skiers of a wide variety of sizes and ability levels can rely on safe release when needed. For hard charging tourers who want the most secure attachment for the biggest lines, look no farther than the CAST Freetour 2.0 Pivot 18.
