Description
DPS's new for 2023/24 Kaizen lineup wants to be your every ski. Featuring an updated carbon fiber laminate split core build, it's a more stable and energetic ski than offered in previous DPS lineups. Its shorter turn radius and wider waist is ideal for those looking for a nimble powder ski that can be trusted in all conditions.
Tech Specs
The DPS Kaizen 112 is designed for big-float with a side of maneuverable stability. Its deep tip rocker and taper allow the ski to surf the surface, and its tight 15m turn radius creates plenty of maneuverability. This ski can comfortably navigate even through tight trees in deep powder.
The updated carbon fiber laminate and new split core in the DPS Kaizen 112 ski build on the horizontal lamination concepts initially found in the Pagoda skis. A poplar wood upper core and as wood lower core, mixed with a new glue, work to dampen vibrations, all while the carbon fiber optimizes energy.
Don't let the DPS Kaizen 112's wide waist fool you into thinking it's strictly for powder turns. The ski's lowered tail rocker profile increases edge engagement on firm snow, so you aren't limited to just the deep stuff, and it improves the energetic popping feeling out of each turn.
