The Petzl Leopard Crampon is among the lightest crampons that still function as real crampons, and the weight savings comes from replacing the metal linking bar with a flexible cord. That change strips a meaningful amount of steel out of the middle of the crampon and lets the whole pair fold flat rather than nesting awkwardly, so it takes far less room in a pack. The tradeoff is that a cord linking system suits snow and moderate alpine ground better than sustained technical ice. For ski mountaineering and long approaches, that is the correct trade. Unisex.
