Raide W TourTech Hybrid Bib

The ski touring pant has always been a compromise. Go full hardshell and you are soaked in sweat by the top of the first climb. Go full softshell and you are soaked in snow by the bottom of the first descent. The Women's Raide TourTech Hybrid Bib splits the difference where it counts, running breathable softshell up top and waterproof hardshell down low.

The upper is a 70d x 70d, 180gsm blend of 85% nylon and 15% spandex with a PFC free DWR and 12 CFM of air permeability, so the high output zone around your core breathes and stretches with the skin track. Below that the fabric switches to a 40d x 70d, 150gsm, 100% nylon hardshell rated 30,000mm hydrostatic head and 30,000 g/m2/24hr MVTR, also PFC free, covering everything that meets snow: knees, cuffs, and seat. A Small in a Regular inseam weighs 536 grams, and sizes run XS through L in Regular and Tall inseams.

This is the bib for women who spend more of the day skinning than standing still and would rather not choose between venting and staying dry. For lift-served laps a full hardshell still makes sense, but on human powered days the hybrid build is hard to argue with.
