Salomon QST 106 Ski

Size: 167

The Salomon QST 106 is without a doubt one of the most popular and beloved powder touring skis of recent memory.  Last season, Salomon introduced a few updates that they'll be sticking with for the 2022 season- a more approachable sidecut for versatility and titanal for dampness and power. There's a reason it's a household name- the QST 106 is the ultimate treat on snow and makes no compromises or sacrifices in delivering a high performing all-mountain ski. With a light poplar woodcore, Salomon has also added a carbon powered C/F Carbon Flax Weave that brings both dampening and stiffness to the table.

The Salomon QST 106 has an 18m turn radius at a 174cm length and all terrain rocker that adapts to both firm and soft snow.  While it loves powder, the QST 106 certainly doesn't discriminate against firm snow days. With titanal inserts underfoot, Cork damplifiers in the tips of the skis, and strategic rubber pads throughout the ski; you've got yourself a a full sandwich ski with durable ABS sidewalls. Dreamers stop dreamin'- the ski that keeps popping into your head at night is the 2022 Salomon QST 106.

The 2022 Salomon QST 106 comes in four lengths from 167cm to 188cm which means no matter who you are- you're accounted for!

  • This strong, versatile ski powers every mission.
  • Poplar Full Woodcore with cork offers a lightweight construction that absorbs the shock and dampens with less weight.
  • Fiber reinforcement and titanal insert underfoot give maximal power, durability, and edge grip.
  • Patented C/FX Carbon Flax Weave technology has two times more carbon with basalt to help with vibration.
  • 106mm waist width powers through every terrain.

Possibly the best 1 ski quiver ever

Everyone knows this ski so I don't know what to tell you other than I love it. The QST 106 is my favorite and the Cripple Creek crew was SO great about confirming the research I already did, and then going way above that. I had my mind made up on a different length and also a different binding. I was instructed NOT to go with the length I chose, and it helped a TON. This ski is so easy to turn yet so powerful and resilient in everything. I even feel confident on resort hardpack when I'm warming up to go through a sidecountry gate.
