The Scott Proguide SRS Pole is equipped with a pole strap release system to release the poles in the event of a fall. The Proguide SRS pole has a comfortable grip that assists with side-hilling and quick adjustment on the fly.

    Collapses randomly

    I dislike adjustable poles because they tend to shorten when I don't want them to. This version is similar to my past experiences. It seems that one of the two that I have is more prone to this than the other...tightening the screw on the tensioner doesn't help. Otherwise works great. I like the quick-release pole straps. This is a nice feature. The baskets seem a bit flimsy.
