The SCOTT Spark RC SL is a cross-country mountain bike built around the Spark RC HMX SL carbon frame, which weighs 1427g with the shock and stands as the lightest 120mm frame in the range. It carries 120mm of travel front and rear, managed by RockShox Flight Attendant: a SID Ultimate fork and SIDLuxe Ultimate rear shock that read the terrain and adjust compression in real time. Ceramic Speed bearings, titanium frame hardware, and an adjustable head angle round out the chassis, with 12x148mm Boost spacing, a 55mm chainline, and UDH compatibility.
Shifting runs through a wireless SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS Transmission, a 12-speed group with a 10-52T cassette and a 34T carbon crankarm carrying a Spider power meter. SRAM Motive Ultimate four-piston brakes pair with CLX Centerline rotors, 180mm front and 160mm rear. DT Swiss XRC 1200 Spline wheels use 30mm carbon rims on Boost hubs, wrapped in Maxxis Aspen 29x2.4" Race Edition tires with 120TPI foldable casings set up tubeless ready.
Cockpit and finishing kit come from Syncros: an IC-M100-SL1 HMX SL carbon handlebar at 740mm with 7-degree backsweep, a Celista saddle on carbon rails, and a RockShox Reverb AXS dropper. Built in piano black and carbon black, the Spark RC SL weighs 9.9 kg (21.83 lb) tubeless without the Save the Day kit. With Flight Attendant working the suspension on the fly, the bike climbs firm and efficient on the way up, then opens for the descent without the rider reaching for a lever.
