Scott Speedster Gravel 10

The Speedster Gravel 10 is Scott's alloy gravel bike done properly. The frame is double-butted 6061 with Scott's gravel geometry, full internal cable routing, a replaceable UDH hanger, and mounts for the Syncros fender kit. Up front is a Speedster Gravel HMF carbon fork with a 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inch eccentric carbon steerer, which is where a lot of the bike's steering precision and weight savings come from. Complete weight is 10.7 kg, with a maximum system weight of 120 kg including rider and luggage.

The build is Shimano GRX 1x12, an RD-RX822 GS derailleur with a 40T chainring and a 10-45T cassette, which covers steep loose climbs and fast pavement without a front derailleur to fuss with. BR-RX410 hydraulic discs with 160 mm rotors do the stopping. Alex Race X25 rims on Formula Team II hubs carry Schwalbe G-One RX tires in 700x45C, which is a genuinely capable width and about as much rubber as the frame will take.
