The Specialized Epic 9 Pro is a cross-country race mountain bike built for marathon and XCO racers chasing efficiency across technical terrain. The FACT 11m carbon frame runs Progressive XC Race Geometry with 120mm of rear travel, Rider-First Engineered tuning, a threaded bottom bracket, internal cable routing, and a 12x148mm UDH rear dropout. SWAT Box 2.0 storage lives inside the frame, and a size-medium complete build hits 22 lbs 14.5 oz (10.39 kg).
Suspension pairs a RockShox SID Ultimate Flight Attendant fork (120mm travel, 15x110mm, 44mm offset) with a SIDLuxe Ultimate Flight Attendant rear shock (190x45mm), using Ride Dynamics logic to cycle between three damping positions without bar-mounted lockouts. Shifting runs through SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission via an AXS POD controller, a Quarq XO Eagle power meter crankset (34T, 165mm SM / 170mm M-XL), and a 10-52 XS 1295 12-speed cassette. SRAM Motive Silver 4-piston hydraulic brakes clamp a 180mm front rotor and 160mm rear for modulated braking at race pace.
Roval Control SL VI hookless carbon wheels with a 29mm inner width and DT Swiss 350 hubs roll on Specialized Fast Trak (front) and Air Trak (rear) 29x2.35 rubber in T5/T7 compound. A Bike Yoke Divine SL dropper (100mm travel on SM, 125mm on M-XL), 760mm Roval Control SL flat bar, and Power Expert saddle (155mm SM, 143mm M-XL) complete the cockpit, giving riders a single bike capable of flowing fast singletrack descents and grinding sustained climbing transfers on the same race loop.
