Why We Like It

The Voile HyperCharger rewards length because the shape is directional, and because Voile moves the sidecut with the size a shorter ski is also a narrower one. A 154 is 125-99-112 mm on a 17.6 m radius at 1,040 g per ski, and a 185 is 143-108-126 mm on a 20 m radius at 1,505 g per ski. Since the whole run is light, sizing up costs less on the climb here than on the poplar Charger, and heavier skiers should size up rather than down.
Voile builds the Hyper Series for AT bindings, and mounting telemark bindings or quiver killers on the Voile HyperCharger voids the Voile factory warranty. Telemark skiers should buy the standard Voile Charger, which Voile rates for their bindings. Mount to the factory boot center mark, which Voile charts for every length, with no plate under the binding. Size brakes to the waist at your length, 99 mm at 154 cm to 108 mm at 185 cm, and run skins at a 140 mm stock width for the 112 to 126 mm tail.
