The scales cover gentle and moderate ground and stop well short of a skin track, losing grip on cold dry snow and on refrozen surfaces, so skins stay in the pack rather than at home. Length works as it does across the family: a 154 is 119-90-105 mm on a 16.5 m radius at 1,020 g per ski, and a 184 is 133-98-116 mm on a 20 m radius at 1,415 g per ski. Distance skiers tend to size up for glide, and skiers in tight terrain down.
Voile builds the Hyper Series for AT bindings, and mounting telemark bindings or quiver killers on the Voile HyperVector BC voids the Voile factory warranty. Tele skiers should buy the poplar Voile Vector BC, which Voile rates for their bindings. Boot center is marked on the topsheet with a chart per length, so no plate goes under the binding. Size brakes to the waist at your length, 90 mm at 154 cm to 98 mm at 184 cm, and carry skins at a 120 mm stock width.
