Why We Like It
- A continuous TPU sidewall, a tough polyurethane strip running above the steel, gives the Voile Hybrid 2.0 tail something firmer to push against when the ski is decambered onto its edge.
- The maple mounting patch is a hardwood block under the binding screws, and it is what lets this ski hold a heavy telemark binding without the mount becoming the weak point.

The Manti Ace shares the Manti sidecut exactly, from 130-100-118 mm on a 16 m radius at 158 cm to 140-105-127 mm on a 19 m radius at 186 cm, so anyone cross-shopping the three Manti builds is choosing construction rather than shape. Weight is the separator: 1,471 g per ski at 171 cm against 1,565 g for the poplar Manti and 1,295 g for the Hyper Manti. Sizing follows the same logic as the rest of the family, with 171 to 181 cm covering most skiers.
Between the maple patch and the sidewall this ski takes the widest binding range of the three Manti builds: AT and pin/tech, plus telemark to the aggressive end. Quiver killers remain a warranty problem. Mount to the factory boot center mark, which Voile charts for each of the six lengths, with no plate needed underneath. Pair the binding to your boot sole norm, set brake width against the waist at your size from 100 mm at 158 cm to 105 mm at 186 cm, and cut skins at a 140 mm stock width for the 118 to 127 mm tail.
