The winter is coming and you realize you don't have a board. Instead of calling fifteen of your friends to gather the necessary tools for the DIY project that you would probably butcher anyway, go ahead and grab the Voile Spartan splitboard. This board is not exactly a directional twin as it features a slimmer tail, wider waist and tighter turning radius for a fun ride in powder, on hardpack, or in the glades. This board was designed with one thing in mind, to get you into the backcountry. Voile aptly named this board as it is built to withstand punishment and does not feature any spurious details. It is a price point board that will get you up and down efficiently, without breaking the bank.

With the POMOCA skins, the climbing was great. I skinned up snowmass yesterday and traction was great. The boarded is a little heavy, but handled very well in the deeper sections of snow. Overall great for the price!
