Volkl V-Werks Katana Touring Ski

Ask a Question

The Katana is the go to for all Volkl athlete who are performing at the top of their game. One of the most trusted freeride ski's around. Now Volkl is taking things into a whole new world by introducing the V-Werks construction in the already stellar Katana.

The V-Werks design allows for Volkl to play with expensive and ultra light material that are not normally used in most ski's in their line. With the use of Carbon, Arimids and Titanal, Volkl established an insanely light 122mm ski that will keep those deep days going all season long. Lap after lap you will still be wanting to run to the top and getting at least one more run.

The light weight build allows for the Katana to be extra playful in deeper snow but cuts through the crud of lower altitude areas. We know we can not always have perfect powder every run, but for a 112mm ski to cut and chop through corn like this is unbelievable. The addition of Ice.Off technology means that heavy powder won't be sticking to the top of your planks when crushing deep powder turns.

This is one ski that you will never be disappointed by and will never quite on you or your legs.

  • V-Werks technology allows for a light weight construction and playful ski.
  • ICe.Off technology gives you freedom from snow build up on your planks.
  • Full rocker profile for fun and aggressive turns.
